Some of these camps during the summer are simply and don’t really have a theme. They are usually put on by private companies or some religious groups or churches. They may have general things to do that involved crafts, sports, time spent outdoors, and sing-a-longs. There are other summer day camps that are a bit more specific. Some are for those who play a particular sport, are into music, love art, dance, or any other special activity that you can imagine. Some even involve celebrities, and that can be very appealing to children, but parents should find out if that celebrity will actually make an appearance before the child gets too excited.
