Pick a good reward. You need to engage your dog’s interest. Sometimes a pat on the head or saying good boy or good girl is good enough. Other times, you may need to use dog snacks and treats to reinforce your dog obedience training.

Timing is also important. When your dog displays good behavior, you need to reward him/her immediately so your dog knows it is a right thing to do.
