Belly fat or also known as stomach fat is usually found deeper in the body compared to fat stored in other parts of the body. That is also one of the reasons why it is much more difficult to lose belly fat.

You can start eating smaller but more frequent meals a day. You can eat 5 to 6 meals a day and each meal portion is smaller than the traditional 3 meals a day. It is also a good idea to start your first meal the heaviest and gradually reduce the amount throughout the day.
