Though it is somewhat easier to buy for my husband because I live with him and know what he needs, I still have a hard time finding things for him. When it comes to buying for my dad, my step dad, and my brother, I always seem to come up empty when I am thinking of gift ideas. In the end I usually cave in and call and ask them what they would like to have. It takes some of the excitement out of gift giving, but it is far better than getting them something they don’t like. I always laugh when men say they have no gift ideas for the women they love. This is not only about giving gifts to their wives and girlfriends, it is also about their mothers and sisters.
