Having recently adapted to a stage version, the breathtaking Shawshank Redemption has arrived in London. The show tells the tale of Andy arriving at a jail after being found guilty of murdering his lover after she had an affair with another bloke. As a well educated man, Andy is very different from the standard prisoners and offers to support a prison warden with his taxes. With this prison warden on his side Andy becomes the prison wardens accountant. The live stage version has a very raw feeling and comes across really real to the captivated theatre goers. The fight scenes are breathtaking, the stage set is realistic and the acting is also breathtaking.
